Ringwood Farmers’ Market Opens
The Ringwood Farmers’ Market will hold a grand opening, rain or shine, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 24, in the parking lot of the Ringwood Park and Ride. The community farmers’ market will take place every Saturday through October 25. The event is sponsored by nonprofit Eat Local, Inc., devoted to cultivating a community in which the values of eating locally are promoted and celebrated.
A wide variety of locally grown fruits and vegetables available, along with honey, grass-fed beef, homemade pizza and ravioli, eggs, olives, pickles, sauces, soups, cheese, pies, artisan breads, apple cider, hummus and many other delectable treats. WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers are accepted by some farmers.
