Blue Rock School Open House and Kindergarten Play Day
Children 4 and 5 years old and their parents can attend an event from 10 a.m. to noon, October 29, to enjoy a fall harvest-themed morning with the Blue Rock School kindergarten staff which includes storytelling, crafts, homemade snacks and outdoor play on the school’s beautifully wooded campus. While children play, parents can learn about Blue Rock’s vibrant learning environment.
Blue Rock School is the Lower Hudson Valley’s only progressive, independent day school, serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade. It was founded in 1987 with the purpose of providing a rich educational experience based on a holistic and hands-on approach that nurtures children’s innate love of learning and enables them to follow their own natural curiosity, develop as independent thinkers and grow in a dynamic learning community.
At Blue Rock, students engage in a challenging and creative academic curriculum which is infused with the arts, nature and play.
