Home Art Tutoring this Summer with Joy Steinberg
Joy Steinberg, artist and founder of Art and Joy Studios, offers day and evening in-home summer art classes that take the responsibility of driving, prepping and cleaning out of the hands of parents. She arrives prepared with everything needed to deliver a professional art class in the comfort of home.
Her classes cover basic figure drawing, crafts, comics, spray painting and more. Steinberg has learned that when children engage in art in their own homes, they feel more confident and exploratory. The classes also offer a respite for mothers, especially those with more than one child, because Steinberg can teach several children while providing everything from smocks to table covers, paints and canvases, freeing up parents.
Steinberg has built a career as an illustrator, muralist and graphic designer in Boston and New Hampshire. She studied art at the Art Student’s League of New York, Bard College and Parson’s School of Design.
