Hazardous Household Collection in West Milford
The Passaic County Office of Solid Waste and Recycling is sponsoring a household hazardous waste drop-off from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., June 8, at the West Milford Recycling Center, rain or shine. Acceptable items include propane tanks, flares, drain cleaners, fire extinguishers, thermostats, car batteries, antifreeze, pool chemicals and aerosol cans.
All items should be in their original containers and labeled. Nothing without a label will be accepted, nor will computers, electronics or tires. Businesses must call to make special arrangements.
