Savor the Flavor at the Ridgewood Public Library
The Ridgewood Public Library will host a lecture, Savor the Flavor of Summer, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., June 11, in Ridgewood presented by registered dietitian Jaclyn Murphy, RDN, and co-sponsored by the Valley Health System.
Participants will learn about the nutritional benefits of seasonal produce, new ways to prepare meal make the most of the local harvest. Murphy says, “As the weather gets warmer, the gardens thrive. Don’t miss out on a chance to learn about your backyard supply of fresh and healthy nutrients that can easily be grown by you.”
