Understanding the Divorce Process Workshop
A workshop, Understanding the Divorce Process, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., February 25, at the Wayne Counseling Center, where participants may explore the legal and financial issues that women face. The discussion also includes information about the ways to obtain divorce and how to choose the right attorney. The workshop is open to all women interested in learning more about the legal and financial issues of separation and divorce.
Women In Transition (WIT) assists women that need to reenter the workforce due to separation, divorce or the death or disability of a spouse, resulting in the loss of their primary source of financial support. WIT is funded by the state of New Jersey Department of Children and Families and the New Jersey State Bar Foundation. WIT offers vocational testing, work readiness classes, assertive communication workshops and computer training at no cost for eligible women.
