SEED For Health Community Wellness Day at Northern Valley Demarest High School
A Community Wellness Day event sponsored by CGI Holistic Fitness Club will be held on Saturday, June 23rd from 10 am to 3:30 pm at Northern Valley Demarest High School, located at 150 Knickerbocker Road in Demarest, NJ. From 11 am to 1 pm there will be informative talks by health experts, and participatory exercises for holistic ways to live a long and healthy life. Before and after there will be fun performances, vendors, activities for kids, raffles, and food.
Tickets are $20, but buying two or more includes copies of the book, I’ve Decided to Live 120 Years: The Ancient Secret to Longevity, Vitality, and Life Transformation by New York Times bestselling author and Body & Brain Yoga founder, Ilchi Lee. The theme for this wellness event is SEED for Health. Your SEED is four things you need to water and manage in order to have a healthy life: Stress, Exercise, Emotions, and Diet. By reducing stress, exercising more, changing emotions from negative to positive, and eating a balanced diet without overeating, we can create much healthier, happier and more peaceful lives in harmony with ourselves, our communities and nature.
General Manager of CGI, Kyla Heo, says that “by hosting this event in support of the SEED campaign, our goal is to encourage and empower our community to take simple yet powerful actions that will foster a healthier and happier lifestyle. When a community is collectively involved, there’s a beautiful feeling of togetherness and camaraderie that allows individuals to feel as though they aren’t alone on their journey. Upon leaving this event, people will feel inspired to love themselves more, and to love each other more wholeheartedly.”
SEED for Health is a campaign run by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Earth Citizens Organization (ECO).
