Prosperity Energy
Florence Scovel Shinn wrote a small book entitled The Law of Prosperity and How to Apply it. There are many truths in this gem. We can use money as an example of prosperity, although prosperity exists in many aspects of life. But most people equate money with prosperity, which is fascinating because money and prosperity are both energies. We can easily attract money and prosperity into our life if we vibrate at the same frequency as what we want. However, there are many ways to actually block the flow of money, and Shinn teaches some ways in her book.
To successfully use the Universal Law of Prosperity, we must have total faith in our ability to be prosperous. Words and thoughts have a strong vibration. This vibratory force determines what happens in our life, including receiving money. The spoken word releases the energy or money. There is a money supply for every demand. Ask and ye shall receive.
Expect to receive the money. In practical terms, if we want to receive more money, we must act as if we already have it. We must have absolute faith that it is with us already. Feel the emotions of having the money and visualize the money. We can only receive what we can see ourselves receiving.
Prepare for it to come into our energy field. Don’t have a plan B for it not coming to us. We will receive whatever we prepare for. Let’s say we haven’t earned enough money to pay the rent this month and it’s due in a few days. We expect the money will come to us. We even visualize it coming to us. e am detached from where and how it comes, but at the same time am also figuring out what we will do if it doesn’t come. Therefore, we are not in total trust of receiving the money. We are preparing for failing to receive the money.
When we are too close to the situation, we can become fearful and doubt. Fear and doubt can restrict our energy fields and block the energetic flow of money. We can limit our money supply with our limited vision. Our energy fields must be open to receive the money. We may need someone else to hold the space, and certainty that money is coming to us. No man can fail if someone person sees him successful.
The vision and action must go hand-in-hand. We must act first and create the momentum for money to come. Giving opens the way to receiving. Tithing, or giving 10 percent of our income, generates money flowing to us.
