We are connected to everything and everyone in the universe through energy and consciousness– even if we don’t realize it. The answers to all our questions are already within us. To receive the answers, we must be connected to this inner wisdom. We have to embody our true authentic self which is the core essence of who we are. Life is a journey to discover this aspect of ourselves as well as our Soul’s purpose.

Most likely our Soul’s purpose is connected to our inner or outer challenges. Consider the most difficult challenges in life, that may have caused a great deal of upset or trauma, are the key to our growth. Likely, our Soul’s purpose is entangled in those difficult aspects of our lives. Consider that our challenges are a doorway into the deepest part of us. Difficult situations or circumstances arise to awaken us to a new aspect of ourselves–to guide us to know ourselves at a deeper level. Those circumstances are leading us to our True Self.

What were the key lessons you learned from a challenge you faced? Can you perceive the challenge as an opportunity or gift for you to grow and expand?

Difficult circumstances get our attention and ensure that we travel a path, metaphorically, to find a solution or a higher way of being. In our mind-centered roles, we rarely pay attention to the little annoyances—only the big, challenging situations that are helping to break us open.

Our trained response is to blame another person or a situation for our challenge. Perceiving that way is a misperception. The issue is not really outside of us. Everything that happens in our lives is happening to mirror something about us. We are all part of the Oneness of the Universe. Everything happening is for us to see ourselves differently and more lovingly. It is like the universe is showing us the issue most needed to transform in our lives to elevate us to where we really want to be—our dreams and aspirations.

If we begin to perceive the world as a mirror of ourselves, we will begin to embrace all that is happening, or has happened, as the guidance to a different way of being in the world. Each of us has enormous potential and amazing gifts that we aren’t using to the best of our abilities. What if we connected to this inner potential and our amazing unique gifts and used them for what our Soul intended for this lifetime?
