Paramus officials are working on repairing sidewalks & replacing damaged trees impacted due to harsh weather as the North Jersey community focuses on recovering weather-related damage.

They are also concentrating to work on public safety & recovering impacted areas because powerful storms that happened in North Jersey caused severe tree damages in several communities which also includes Paramus, where trees have fallen down and also impacted sidewalks, road areas & nearby properties.

Paramus is working on large-scale sidewalk repairs which involves damage caused by underground roots of borough-owned trees. Previously the community also planned to fix hundreds of broken sidewalk slabs which makes walking safer for pedestrians.

Maintaining trees healthy protects sidewalks & walk pathways for the community. While big, old trees are good for the environment which supports shade & better air quality, expanding roots & extreme weather conditions also causes branches of trees to fall which can damage public property.

Mature trees were lost due to harsh weather conditions so tree replacement is necessary which can support the restoration of greenery in North Jersey areas. Paramus officials are repairing sidewalks and walking paths which are important for public safety.
