The New Weis Center for Education, Arts & Recreation will conduct a Sunset Hike and Bonfire Social gathering from 8 to 9:30 p.m., June 12. The center offers many options for the homeschool community, including field trips that can be scheduled for groups and weekly programs open to all homeschoolers from September through May. Many of the individual public programs, seasonal programs (like maple sugaring, natural wreath weaving and pumpkin chunkin) and scout programs can also be adapted and scheduled privately for a group, pod or co-op.

The nonprofit Highlands Nature Friends, Inc., is the owner and operator of The New Weis Center for Education, Arts & Recreation. With the help of our board, staff, volunteers and the support of partners and the surrounding community, they continue our focus on restoring the buildings and improving the gardens and grounds of the 150 plus acre property and offering a broad range of programs and events for all ages.

Children 5 and under are free. Location: 150 Snake Den Rd., Ringwood. For tickets, visit Tinyurl.com/Sunset-Tickets. For more information, call 973-835-2160.
