0Clearing Trapped Emotions
Many of us can relate to the phrase emotional baggage. It seems as though everyone has at least some. Dr. Bradley Nelson, creator of the Emotion Code, calls emotional baggage “trapped emotions.” According to Nelson, emotional energy can become trapped in the body when we are overwhelmed or traumatized, experienc a difficult or painful event, or are unable to process emotions fully.
Blocking, or stuffing an emotion can cause it to become trapped, as well. These trapped emotions can stymie our physical, emotional and mental well-being, our relationships and our ability to fully express ourselves through creativity, work or play. They also can interfere with the healthy flow of life energy in the body, leaving us feeling tired or even exhausted as our energy is spent maintaining all of this baggage, even though we don’t realize it.
Some of the many emotions that we might experience are anger, sadness, loss, depression, anxiety, fear and worry. Each has a specific vibration energy or frequency, so if we are feeling an intense emotion, our whole body can take on the frequency, and that energy can then become stuck in the body, so that even long after the event has passed, it is still with us and becomes what Nelson calls a trapped emotion, interfering with the body’s ability to function fully and normally.
Trapped emotions can be at the root of pain, malfunctioning of organs and glands, and can contribute to issues of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, eating disorders, self-sabotaging behavior or even post-traumatic stress disorder. They can possibly lead to serious other health issues as the body continues to experience the emotion for years or even decades. Removing that trapped emotion changes how people feel and react in different situations.
Getting rid of these trapped emotions is a wonderful step to increasing our own happiness, feelings of well-being, health and improved relationships with family, friends and coworkers. Emotional rebalancing allows us to do this quickly and easily. Kinesiology, or muscle testing, is used to identify the emotions that need to be released, one at a time. Next, they are released by using a magnet going down the spine. Typically, four to nine emotions are released during a session.
