0Open House for Summer Play Camp
The Blue Rock School Summer Play Camp will host open house events on March 11 and April 29 for parents and children to take a tour, meet the camp director and hear all about the camp’s unique, adventure-filled summer program. Fun activities are planned for the children and refreshments will be served.
Summer Play is an imaginative, discovery-based summer program where 3-to-12-year-olds can explore a variety of hands-on, creative and playful activities. On the wooded campus, there are enough magical play spaces for even the most vivid imaginations.
The program includes art, music, drama, nature and science, gardening, swimming, woodworking, T-ball, soccer, sewing, cooking, games and free play. Older campers may choose an excursion option one day each week where veteran environmental educators take them on hikes at local parks lakes and rivers.
Tuition is affordable and each summer the program typically draws more than half of its campers from other public and private area schools and the home-schooled community. Summer Play also offers a counselor-in-training program for ages 13 and up.
Location: 110 Demarest Mill Rd., West Nyack, NY. For reservations, call 845-627-0234 or email
