Wellness Gala Balance Your Life
The Wellness Gala will present A Day Like Never Before from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m., November 12, at the Sheraton Hotel in Parsippany. Deb Peterson is the founder of Wellness Gala Balance Your Life, LLC. Her mission is to inform the public about the many benefits of integrative healing modalities and holistic wellness. A graduate of Old Dominion University with a degree in marketing, Peterson was a successful sales executive for 15 years before branching out on her own.
After becoming a marketing professional for Russ Berrie & Co., Inc. in outside sales for 15 years, her oldest son started to display unusual behaviors. Peterson says, “From that moment on, my life was completely changed. My son was diagnosed with severe Tourette syndrome. The mainstream medical community states that there is no cure for this syndrome, and that over time symptoms can worsen. I was so desperate to help my son that I turned to integrative healing practices as a last resort.” She found an energy healer, Dr. Robert Kandarjian, who completely healed her son of Tourette through energy healing in conjunction with a Columbia University neurologist, medication and other therapies.
“The idea to create a Wellness Gala event grew from my realization that integrative healing modalities can work miracles. My goal is to inform people everywhere that these modalities are legitimate options that can help any type of physical, emotional, mental or spiritual issues or concerns,” shares Peterson. The first Wellness Gala Balance Your Life event in 2008 attracted 350 attendees, and the proceeds were donated to the Tourette Syndrome Association of New Jersey.
Wellness Gala Balance Your Life provides attendees the opportunity to experience the special gifts of a select group of experts in the fields of health, beauty and wellness. Holistic health concepts, renowned speakers, anti-aging and stress reduction techniques, and personal growth workshops are all featured at the events. A portion of the proceeds from each Wellness Gala event are donated to selected local charities within the area the event is being held. Peterson explains, “My goal and aspiration is to touch new lives every day and to introduce the mainstream public to the benefits of holistic healing modalities.”
