Ringwood Farmers’ Market Opens May 25
The Ringwood Farmers’ Market will hold the season’s grand opening from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 25, and every Saturday until the end of October, rain or shine, in the parking lot of the Ringwood Park and Ride. The event is coordinated by Eat Local, Inc., a nonprofit organization devoted to bringing local food to Ringwood and to educating the public about supporting a healthy lifestyle and a more sustainable environment.
The market features a wide variety of locally grown fruits and vegetables, as well as eggs, honey, grass-fed beef, homemade pizza and ravioli, olives, pickles, sauces, soups, locally roasted coffee, cheese, pies, artisan breads, apple cider, hummus and many other treats. WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers are accepted by some farmers.
