0Treating Cancer Naturally
An individual is told they have cancer, and that sends them into a tailspin. Fear grows as the doctor refers them to an oncologist. More fear accrues waiting for the appointment, where the oncologist tells them that treatment needs to be started right away.
That may be a typical scenario, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Perhaps when they are told they have cancer, their mind says, “So do many other people.” They leave the doctor’s office and search for a yoga class, head to a local health food store to pick up 100 mcg of Selenium with L-selenomethionine and Se-methyl L-selenocysteine, and maybe some 5,000 mg vitamin D3 capsules. Both selenium and vitamin D are found to be below optional levels in cancer patients.
Next, they head to the local library to get books on the macrobiotic diet and the Gersten treatment. They search the Internet for information about detoxing. Now they have plenty to keep their mind occupied and keep their stress levels down before that fateful appointment.
The oncologist describes the treatment he wishes to start right away, but they choose to go home and think rather than rush into it. They visit a local hospital’s oncology unit and speak with some of the patients that are getting chemo and ask them about how they feel between treatments. If they choose quality of life over chemo, they will not be not alone. The current state of chemotherapy kills healthy cells along with the cancerous cells. In this delicate dance between killing the cancer and the patient, it is not uncommon for the patient to die of the chemo instead of the cancer.
Maybe it would be better for them to change their lifestyle before they get cancer, starting with keeping their vitamin D levels up, supplementing with selenium, avoiding GMO foods, eating foods and spices that reduce inflammation, detoxing on a regular basis, exercising regularly, keeping stress levels down and having fun. Perhaps they could clean out their cosmetics and cleaning supplies and replace them with natural products, get rid of carpets and only use tiles and real wood floors, get a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner and air cleaning system, keep windows open to allow fresh air to circulate and use a reverse osmosis water system to get rid of fluoride and other contaminants in the water. Then, even if they still get cancer, it will not be for lack of effort.
