0Free Recycling Event For Bergen County Residents
The Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) will be sponsoring a tire, computer and paper shredding drop-off, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., October 26, rain or shine, at Bergen Community Campgaw Mountain Reservation, in Mahwah.
There is a four-tire limit per person for tire recycling. Tires with or without rims will be accepted. Welcome items for the drop-off include computers, fax machines, televisions, modems, hard drives, laptop computers, keyboards and monitors.
For mobile paper shredding, each person will be held to a limit of four bags weighing no more than 10 pounds per bag. Paper does not need to be shredded beforehand. There will be shredders onsite. No material from businesses will be accepted.
