Native Medicinal Gardening Day
Sustainable West Milford will host a native medicinal gardening day, co-sponsored by WiseWoman Healing Ways, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., September 28, in West Milford. This will be the last medicinal gardening day of the year.
This event emphasizes medicinal plants that are native to the region of West Milford. Herbalist Robin Rose Bennett will instruct participants about the many aspects of herbal medicine. She teaches regularly at the New York Open Center and at the Arbor-Vitae School of Traditional Herbalism. No prior garden expertise is required and gardening tools are provided.
