Passaic County Electronic Waste Collection Event
The Passaic County Office of Solid Waste and Recycling is sponsoring a computer and electronics drop-off from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, June 12 and 13, at the Passaic County Para-Transit Facility, in Wayne.
Accepted items include fax machines, hard drives, keyboards, radios, VCRs, modems and CD players. Passaic County residents can recycle e-waste to keep it out of landfills and avoid toxic substances such as mercury, lead and cadmium from entering the groundwater.
