B Hive Organic Salon Helps Children in Need
The B Hive is the only organic salon in Bergen County focused on sustainable beauty. They have created a new charity to recycle Halloween costumes for children in need with drop-off locations around Bergen County through November 15. For locations visit Kostumes4Kids.org.
Look for B Hive Thursday Night Buzz events through November. They will also host a Holiday Bazaar on from 5 to 9 p.m., December 2, with local artisan vendors for shopping and light refreshments.
Owner Angela Alba, an internationally trained master stylist, says, “As pioneers in the beauty industry, it is important that as a salon we strive to provide not only excellence in our services and creativity, but the best in natural products and in promoting all things local. Community is an important part of our model of sustainability, and by sponsoring and supporting events like this, we have the opportunity to give back to those in need.”
Her work and natural color formulations has been featured in local and national magazines and the salon has been ranked in first place for Best in Bergen in every salon category for three years running.
