How do you always get these leading roles?
~The Universe
I wake up with one of these seemingly custom-made “Notes from The Universe” sitting in my inbox each morning, courtesy of Mike Dooley from tut.com. I chuckled at this particular one. I never thought of this as a comeback.
What is actually going on with this world of ours? It’s a bit strange, this place. When I was fairly young, I once caught myself wondering, “Why the lack of peace and harmony?” Was it because I lived in North Jersey? I’m sure that had something to with it, but seriously, why does the world appear to be so topsy-turvy? Even at a young age, I felt that we could have heaven on Earth. All we had to do was choose it and act accordingly, which dictates that we would likely be required to change our thinking and behavior a bit in order to facilitate this choice, but I’m certain that the effort would be well worth it.
It’s apparent that many of us have experienced challenges in recent times… perhaps to shift us out of some of that thinking and behavior that didn’t serve us and those around us quite well. Our habit patterns play a large role in how our lives are shaped, especially our habitual thought patterns. If you have the tendency to see the good, you’ll find it, and if you like to focus on things to complain about, you’ll find plenty of those, as well.
We’re either in the most exciting comeback in history, or going to hell in a handbasket. We choose what we perceive. I prefer the comeback story, because we can all use a kick-butt party at this point.
Cheers,
