Reduce Stress the Zen Way at the Haworth Library
The Haworth Public Library will be presenting Reduce Stress the Zen Way, with Wally Koopalethes, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., Dec 5, 12 and 19, in Haworth. Koopalethes has more than 35 years of experience as a Zen teacher. No prior meditation experience is required.
These classes impart meditation tactics such as breathing techniques and posture that help relieve stress and tension. Zen meditation has been shown to have mental and physical health benefits such as improved focus, better happiness, improved metabolism, a healthier heart rate and more self-control.
