Knock Off Holiday Weight with Boxercise

Boxercise is a cardio workout created by professional boxer Richard Pierson. The classes are geared to be fun, educational and effective in getting into shape quickly. New students can take advantage a New Year’s special of half-price classes for the first week of January.

The class is designed to teach the average person the basic art of boxing while effecting weight loss and getting their body toned. It’s very popular with women because of the added benefit of learning self-defense.
Classes on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday include exercises that professional boxers use to prepare for fights. Punching techniques are taught using hand pads, as opposed to heavy bags, which have been known to cause serious injury.
