A Holistic Approach to Heart Health at Valley Hospital
The Valley Hospital is sponsoring a lecture, A Holistic Approach to a Healthy Heart, by Benita Burke, M.D. a cardiologist and medical director of Valley Medical Group Heart Care for Women, from 7 to 8 p.m., February 7, in Ridgewood.
The recent swing toward holistic medicine focuses on promoting awareness of complementary therapies that can impact heart disease and be used along with traditional approaches. Participants will explore holistic approaches to heart health related to exercise and fitness, nutrition and stress management.
