0Where to Watch Fireworks in Bergen, Passaic and Hudson County
We are just over a week away from Independence Day, the day of all summer celebrations. So plan ahead to join the fireworks to go with your barbecues and local town parades:
Bergen County Fireworks
June 29, Edgewater, Veterans Land. Guests can enjoy live music, food carts, games, and activities from 6 pm to 10 pm. Fireworks will start at 9:20 am.
June 29, Fair Lawn, Memorial Park. Live music, vendors, and food and drink will be available starting at 645pm and fireworks will start at 9 pm. Admission is 9 for adults, 7 for children, and 6 for seniors.
June 30, Lyndhurst Ballpark, Riverside Avenue. Go to the park to buy food and street vendors at 6 pm. and the ceremony at 8:30 am Fireworks will start at sunset.
July 1, Ramsey, Finch Field. Celebrate Independence Day with live music and fireworks from 6-10:30 pm.
July 2, Paramus, Garden State Plaza. Borough’s one-day event runs from 12 pm to 9 pm. and will include children’s games and activities, food vendors, live music, and more. Fireworks start at sunset. Admission is 6 for ages 5 and up.
July 3, Oradell, Field of Remembrance. The holiday festival begins at 6 p.m., followed by a fireworks display at dusk.
July 3-4, East Rutherford, State Fair Meadowlands. The fair is open from 2 pm. to 1 a.m. on both days. The Fun Pass is 38.99 — children under 3 feet are free — and includes fireworks, which start around midnight. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
July 4, Allendale, Lake Crestwood. Start the day with a flag raising and salute at 7 a.m., followed by events and field games for all ages. Fireworks start around 9 pm.
July 4th, Ridgefield Park. The village’s 129th Independence Day celebrations include a Flag Raising Ceremony at 745 a.m., followed by an Infant and Youth Parade at 9 a.m. and the Main Parade at 1130 a.m. Live music at Veterans Field runs from 730 a.m. until 9 am with the final fireworks display at 930pm.
July 4, Maywood. Start Independence Day at the annual county parade, which begins at 9 a.m. Any veteran interested in participating must visit the American Legion at 135 E. Passaic St. before 830 am.
July 4, Ridgewood. The annual village parade begins at 10 a.m., while evening entertainment at Veterans Field begins at 6 p.m. with live music, food, and fireworks at sunset. Admission to the evening show is 16 for adults and 12 for children ages 6-12.
July 4, Hackensack, Foschini Park. Food carts, games, and beer gardens will be open from 4 pm to 8 pm and the annual fireworks display will begin at 9 pm.
July 4, Norwood, Kennedy Field. The county will hold a fireworks show at nightfall.
July 8, Tenafly. A party with food and games runs from 10 am to 2 pm. at Roosevelt Common, and a concert will take place at 730 p.m. behind Tenafly High, followed by fireworks at 9 pm.
Hudson County Fireworks
July 4 | Jersey City Celebration | Montgomery Street, Exchange – Jersey City
This Exchange Place event is back. The Jersey City Fireworks Festival – led by Guinness World Record holder Gruci – will be launched from two barges in the middle of the Hudson River with a large viewing area this year. The all-day festivities will run from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm and will include food, drinks, and music from local DJs. Fireworks will start at 9:30 pm.
July 4 | Terrace at Exchange Place | 1 exchange location, Jersey City
The rooftop at Exchange Place, located at 1 Exchange Place in Jersey City, has a prime location to watch the JC Hudson River’s 4th of July Fireworks show – and also offers special dinner reservation packages let’s see. This place has a great view of the fireworks and a great view of the New York skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and the Hudson River. Several meal packages are available to watch the fireworks.
July 4 | Port Imperial Weehawken Cruise | Port Imperial, 4800 Avenue at Port Imperial, Weehawken
NY Waterway’s 4th of July Fireworks Ride will be down the Hudson River from Weehawken on July 4th. Boarding at 7:00 pm with pending return time based on the fireworks display. and the journey will set sail, rain or shine. Tickets are $170 per adult with discounts for seniors and children available.
July 29 | 4th of July in Ordinary Time | Secaucus Swimming Club, 2000 Koelle Avenue, Secaucus
The 4th of July came a little early in Secaucus. This event takes place on Thursday, June 29 at 6:00 pm and is open to Secaucus residents and their guests only. Held at the Secaucus Swim Club, the event will feature food, music, and fireworks.
Passaic County Fireworks
July 2 | Clifton City Picnic Fireworks | Main Memorial Park, 1395 Main Ave.| 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Clifton City Picnic Fireworks will feature amazing food, crafts, clowns, free rides, and other activities for children! Please Contact Lauren at 973-470-5758 for interested vendors or volunteering.
July 2 | Clifton Fireworks Display | Clifton Stadium, 350 Piaget Ave.
Nation’s Birthday will be celebrated with the best fireworks show! Clifton Community Band will be entertaining! Tickets will cost $3.00 per person and will be available at the City Clerk’s office. Contact Lauren in the Health Department at 973-470-5758 for more information or to become a vendor.
July 4 | Street Fair Fireworks in Little Falls | Main St. & Stevens Ave., NJ | | 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Little Falls Annual Fourth of July Street Fair is hosted by members of the Little Falls PBA #346, the fair will feature food, a kids zone, craft vendors, music, and more. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a day out with friends and family while supporting the local community.
July 5 | Wayne PAL Fireworks | Wayne Hills High School, 272 Berdan Ave, Wayne, NJ
Wayne Police Athletic League Fireworks on July 5 at 6 p.m. in Wayne Township. The event will be catered by Johnny Zeppoli, with food, rides, and other activities before the fireworks begin. Rain date is Thursday, July 6.
