The Organic Mattress Store, in Hellertown, is selling products made with natural latex (rubber) produced right here in Pennsylvania, instead of Sri Lanka, for its private label mattresses. This latex uses the same high-quality Dunlop process that The Organic Mattress Store has featured since 2004.
Owner Dennis Hornick says, “The move creates more jobs in Pennsylvania. This is a win-win for Pennsylvania and our customers.” Many people choose natural latex, organic wool and organic cotton over synthetic bedding materials for a variety of health, comfort and sustainability reasons.
