Voices of September 11th is hosting an informational forum on September 10 at the New York Marriott Downtown in New York City, where representative from the World Trade Center Health Program and a representative from the Victim’s Compensation Fund will distribute information and answer questions about the October 3 deadline for registration. Call our help line with any questions.
Voices of September 11th assists responders and survivors that have a continuing need for health care as a result of their activities after the 9/11 attacks. Medical and mental health care is available under the provisions of the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010. Those that think they are eligible can call 855-709-0100 or email wtchp@VoicesOfSept11.org. The knowledgeable staff can answer any questions and help fill out an application.
Eligible persons include those that lived, worked, volunteered or went to school in lower Manhattan, south of Houston, on 9/11 and the following months. Many people exposed to toxins have been diagnosed with respiratory disease, cancer and other health and mental health complications.
